Pick up address
As it is your responsibility to make sure nothing is left behind or taken by mistake Sunset Removals does highly recommend you have an appointed person in attendance.
Delivery address
It is normal practice you have an appointed person in attendance at the delivery address. It helps with efficient delivery if you can advise our team where you would like things placed in your new home. It also reduces the chance of you having to move things later
All of your furniture will be wrapped in heavy duty quilted pads for protection.
Yes we can move your pot plants.
Pot Plant tip: as it is difficult to stack pot plants on top of anything, and anything on top of plants, plants may take up more space in the truck than you may have thought they would, so Sunset removals suggest you may wish to cull some.
Do not water your plants in the last few days prior to the move date. This reduces the risk of water and mud getting onto your furniture, and also the pots will weigh less.
It is best if plants are moved in plastic pots; this reduces their weight and prevents ceramic pots breaking. It can get hot in the back of the truck if you are moving over long distances; plants may not like this.
Due to the explosive, flammable or toxic nature of some substances, Professional Furniture Removalists will not transport items.
